Welcome to the Brainstorm 2017: Future Ready Students conference website.

PLEASE NOTE:  Using this tool to mark your personal scheduling preferences does not reserve a seat for marked sessions, nor does it register you for the conference.  

We do not plan to have paper programs available on site.
 If you would like a printed program, select the printer icon to the right to print a personal copy.  

Brainstorm 2017 is held in a public space, therefore we do not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, or news organizations from photographing conference activities. VSTE, SVTC and James Madison University reserve the right to use images taken at the Conference with your photograph and/or likeness on social media and/or in future marketing materials. We are NOT responsible for individual attendee’s use of your image or likeness.

Parking will be available on campus but it is limited. Consider car pooling.

While open educational content is abundant and free, but how can these resources easily be put into practice?
We will discuss the pros and cons of OER and take a look teachers can use to search less and discover more... making best use of open educational resources for instruction and allowing students to learn from primary sources and up to date materials.
