Rockin’ it Beyond the Hour of Code

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Computational thinking is becoming more and more prominent and is on it’s way to being mandated by the state. But there is no need for concern! This session will offer a way to expand the Hour of Code into a school-wide program outside of the computer lab, library, or classroom. Finding ways to integrate computational thinking into the everyday curriculum can seem like an overwhelming task, but it isn’t! Come check out just how seamless it can be! Participants will see a variety of technology-integrated projects that teachers used to combine curriculum and computational thinking. Each project can stretch across the curriculum and grade levels. During the session there will be time to explore the technologies used in each project.
