Get Future Ready with Scratch in the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this session, learn how to use a free resource, Scratch, to help your students grow in the Four C’s (Communication, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Creativity) and ISTE standards 5 and 6 (Computational Thinker and Creative Communicator). This session is not a how-to do Scratch session, but you will have the opportunity to create or remix a project. We will explore methods to bring the Scratch experience to your classroom content. You can use Scratch in many ways throughout the year. We will look at brief endeavors and more complete integration. Come see a student trapped in a snow globe, the life cycle of a frog, Algebra save the world, and walk the four quadrants of a graph (in order!!).
