Welcome to the Brainstorm 2017: Future Ready Students conference website.

PLEASE NOTE:  Using this tool to mark your personal scheduling preferences does not reserve a seat for marked sessions, nor does it register you for the conference.  

We do not plan to have paper programs available on site.
 If you would like a printed program, select the printer icon to the right to print a personal copy.  

Photography:
Brainstorm 2017 is held in a public space, therefore we do not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, or news organizations from photographing conference activities. VSTE, SVTC and James Madison University reserve the right to use images taken at the Conference with your photograph and/or likeness on social media and/or in future marketing materials. We are NOT responsible for individual attendee’s use of your image or likeness.

Parking:
Parking will be available on campus but it is limited. Consider car pooling.

Robot Mice, Robots, and Drones---A Coding Progression in a K-5 School
Media Specialist and STEM Instructor in a K-5 school provide coding opportunities for students. Participants begin their coding experience with small robotic mice that are easily coded. The particpants then progress to a more advanced level of coding with robots. The final step is coding with drones and other apps.
